Ryland Moranz

Both in his own right as a solo artist and as an integral member of Leeroy Stagger’s Rebeltone Sound, Ryland spends considerable time traversing the highways and byways of Canada, the US and Europe. He filters the spirits and genius of literary giants like Vonnegut and Hemingway thru the templates of Townes Van Zandt, John Prine or Blaze Foley. Ryland’s compositions span bygone days, the here and now, and what may be to come, for himself and all of us.

Geoff McKenzie

Geoff McKenzie writes songs that are about something. Love and its malfunctions, candied moonlight, at least one murder ballad and the plot of a drugstore novel set to rhyme. It’s hard to tell if he’s a disgraced poet who got good at guitar or verse vice-a, but somewhere along the line he raised a brood of restless folk songs that will jump in your lap and seize hold of your feelings. The little bastards.
